Grey is tradtionally tough to get right in a tie. On shiny smooth silk you might something that feels like it needs a uniform of some sort. When Cruz gets his hand on the savvy colour and puts it on knitted wool you've got something completely different. With his ash-like grey embraced by the wool's matte non-shine, he produces tons of charisma and will boost a classy wools suit just as well as a 5 dollar one. But Cruz doesn't stop at suits, he'd just as happily be the exclamation mark on a shirt with just a pair of jeans.
